Hospital, clinic respond to active shooter drill

    Chase County Community Hospital (CCCH) and Clinic performed an annual drill Oct. 23 where the scenario involved an active shooter on site.

Picking a perfect pumpkin

Cox’s Ponds were a hit last weekend, organizer Arlys Cupp said. Besides pumpkin picking, activities included hayrack rides, a corn maze, face painting and a corn sandbox.
