For the sixth straight year the Chase County volleyball team reached the finals of the SPVA tournament and for the fourth time, the Longhorns brought home the title.

Above, while he missed qualifying for state, Trevin Moreno led the Longhorn boys last week at districts with a 25th place finish. Jordan Jablonski held her position above the 15th place mark through most of the district race, finishing 11th and qualifying for state.
Perfect running conditions allowed nearly every Chase County runner to record a season’s personal record last Thursday at the district cross country meet in Ogallala.

The Wauneta-Palisade volleyball team opened its RPAC tournament appearance Monday night with wins over Maxwell and Hitchcock County.
