Wauneta-Palisade eighth grade girls participated in the EYH Conference this year, chaperoned by Betsy Johanson, high school counselor. Included in the trip was a stop at Double Dips Ice Creamery. North Platte Community College hosted 290 students from 13 area middle schools March 14 as part of the Expanding Your Horizons Conference.

The Chase County Quiz Bowl team went 3-3 and placed third at the SPVA meet last Tuesday.
