Lied Imperial Public Library celebrates 90th birthday
The very first library located in Imperial celebrated its opening day with cake and ice cream last Wednesday. Ninety years later cake and ice cream were once again the chosen celebratory dessert around 50 community members enjoyed. “Some of the board members mentioned that it was really fun to see the different people who came and talked about the differences they saw in the library from what they originally remembered,” said Beth Falla, Library Director.
