Hospital bond election notice in this issue

Chase County residents will be officially notified of the May 14 $20.5 million hospital bond election with a Notice of Election being published this week in the county’s two legal newspapers.
Chase County Clerk Debbie Clark, who also serves as election commissioner, published the notice in this week’s edition of The Imperial Republican and The Wauneta Breeze.
It will also appear as a legal notice in both papers for five weeks prior to the election.
Mail-in election
The special bond election will be held exclusively by mail. There will be no in-person voting at the clerk’s office.
Clark said all registered voters in the county will receive the ballot in the mail. Ballots will be mailed beginning April 22. Friday, May 3 is the final day to request a ballot by mail.
