Hospital bill, Moser offer on council agenda

The agenda for Monday’s Imperial city council meeting is already filling up, with several items scheduled as of Wednesday morning.
City Clerk/Administrator Jo Leyland said the following items are on Monday’s 6 p.m.  agenda, with more possibly to be added as the meeting nears:
Consider payment of Chase County Community Hospital bill. The county commissioners have voted to pay half of the $436 bill.
Consider settlement offer from Scott Moser, who owes the city $161,450 for incentives his business, Scott’s Pump Service, received when purchasing lots in the Cornerstone property.
Presentation by Tree City USA essay winners from Chase County Schools.
Bids for new park well will be before the council after bid-opening last week.
