Free movies bring in crowd

More than 100 children, teens and adults attended the free matinee showings of “The Polar Express” at the Imperial Theatre last weekend. This marks the second year the Imperial Lions Club has sponsored the showing of free Christmas-themed movies during the holiday season. On top of paying for the rights to show the movie so people could attend free, club members also worked the concessions stand both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
