Flooding below
More than an inch of rain overnight Saturday left the playground area at Schroeder Park inundated with water. That left it a pretty quiet area even though the end-of-season coed softball tournament was being played there Sunday. Sisters Kimberly, left, and Stephanie Escobar found a dry spot on top of the equipment as they watched their dad David play in the all-day tournament. As the day progressed with periods of sunshine, the puddles dried up considerably. Tournament games were moved back an hour due to the rain.(Johnson Publications photo)
