Crazy Quilt Guild members donate quilts
The 16 members of the Crazy Quilt Guild wanted to do a service project that would benefit children in need. The members handmade 34 quilts from baby-quilt size to throw size and donated them to the Department of Health and Human Services in McCook, which administers assistance by Child Protective Services (CPS) in seven counties. Sharon Clark, a member of the quilt guild, said when CPS helps children, it is nice to have something for them to cuddle up in. These quilts will be used for that purpose.
