Chase County Fair canceled for 2020

During the Chase County Fair (CCF) board meeting last week, board members unanimously made the decision to cancel 100% of the events of the 2020 CCF.
“We want to let the public know that we held out as long as we could in hopes that we would be able to have all of our events, but it became unrealistic under the current Direct Health Measures to guarantee public safety,” the board said in a press release.
At this time, 4-H and FFA events are being worked through.
“Our hope is that our youth have the opportunity to showcase their hard work and talents,” the release said.
Full refunds will be issued to any and all ticket purchases.
More information regarding ticket refunds will be announced when available.
The CCF Board would like to thank their sponsors and patrons.
“Without you the Chase County Fair would not be what it is,” the release said. “Even though this was a very difficult decision made by the board, we are extremely excited and already working hard towards making the 2021 Chase County Fair the best one yet.”
