The Lied Imperial Public Library has scheduled its third annual puzzle contest for Feb. 2. Competition will begin at the library at 1:30 p.m. Puzzles must be completed by 4:30 p.m.
Director Beth Falla said “I’d like to see 50 people” in the meeting room putting together puzzles. Last year eighteen enthusiasts participated.
Age divisions are adult (15 years and up), youth (6th-9th grade) and intergenerational (ages 11-111). Categories are individual, who will work on 300-500 piece puzzles; two person, who will work on 500-750 piece puzzles, and four person, who will also work on 500-750 piece puzzles.
Falla urges those interested to sign up soon. The deadline is 6 p.m. Jan. 21. Contestants are asked to bring a snack to share.
Winners receive the entry fee for the 2014 puzzle contest.
